OA Literature

There are many pamphlets and books available about the Overeaters Anonymous program, and you can buy them through the Oregon Intergroup or directly from the World Service Office.

Some of the books available include:

The Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Overeaters Anonymous, and the Twelve Step Workbook
A New Beginning, stories of relapse and recovery
Abstinence, stories about abstinence
Beyond Our Wildest Dreams, the history of OA as told by our founder
Overeaters Anonymous, a compendium of stories about compulsive overeaters and their recovery
For Today, a one-day-at-a-time book of OA thoughts
Lifeline Sampler, a collection of writings from Lifeline, our monthly journal of recovery

We also have pamphlets on a number of subjects, including sponsorship, the tools of OA, a plan of eating, and avoiding relapse; pamphlets for compulsive overeaters who are children and for the spouses of compulsive eaters; and pamphlets focused on doctors, therapists and other professionals who work with compulsive eaters.

Literature is always available at Intergroup meetings.
