How to get an Intergroup representative

Every OA group is entitled to send two representatives to each Intergroup meeting, to help run the business of OA and to bring the group conscience and needs of their meeting into the Intergroup discussions and decisions.

If you don't have anyone going to Intergroup yet, volunteer! get someone! Or better yet, two someones!

It's very easy.

All you have to do is regularly attend your meeting, volunteer and be authorized by your group to be an Intergroup Representataive. Then just show up in Portland at the Intergroup meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. Spend an hour to an hour and a half doing great service, talking out issues, and finding the best solutions when we need to make a decision. There's even a Member-at-Large who will welcome new representatives, give you a packet of materials for your meeting and answer any questions you have.

We're a very friendly and helpful bunch, and we encourage every OA group to send a rep. Your voice won't be heard if you don't...and OA is for YOU.
